In 2013, SullivanDay was chosen by a longtime client to partner on the remodeling of several Burger King locations to a new, hipper design with updated colors and finishes, Wi-Fi and flat screen TVs, and Coca-Cola Freestyle drink machines. Each remodel allowed just three weeks from start to completion.
On a tight schedule, we gutted the dining area and expanded the drive-through while maintaining safety and efficiency for customer and employees. The drive-through remained open during almost the entire project. We constructed a temporary wall between the kitchen and dining area to maintain food safety and reduce noise during demolition and reconstruction.
The remodel in Burnsville received a 2013 STARR Award from the Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA) for renovation/remodels under 5,000 square feet. We have completed three Burger King remodels and have more scheduled, taking these restaurants out of the 80s and back to the future.
